It’s so good to be back! I missed you, pretty sure you missed me too. I know a lot has happened since our last session, and we have a lot to sort out, but I’m in no mood for that this week so I’m just going to give you a little piece of advice. Call it sorting nuggets if you will.
What I want to say to you this week is: the secret sauce of much success in life is to show up authentically you. What I mean is don’t be afraid to be your true self.
You complicate your life when you try to live any life other than yours, or be anybody other than yourself. Like I said many sessions ago, the fingers on your hands are not equal. Similarly, people, everyone as a matter of fact, have their unique paths in life, and those paths bear unique fruits, experiences, and attributes for each individual.
Imagine if Steven Tyler gave up being a musician, the world would have never heard Dream On, and what if Michael Dell gave up assembling computers in the his college dorm room? What if Oprah wasted her life trying to be Diana Ross, or Obama trying to be Steve Harvey, or Tiger Woods trying to be Usain Bolt? What if I wasted my life trying to be a magic wand instead of a sorting durag? I would have ended up as one of Ron Weasley’s broken wands, and I wouldn’t be dishing out this sorting nuggets for you.
So child, make a conscious decision this week, moving forward, to be, to live, and to show up authentically you.
I’ll see you next week 😉
